Garuda Aerospace has launched India’s first exclusive drone showroom in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This showroom features a variety of drones for visitors to explore and buy. The showroom includes high-tech interactive drone simulators with VR goggles. These simulators offer a realistic flying experience. “Garuda Aerospace’s first drone showroom is sparking a revolution. We plan to open 300 more across India to boost future drone use,” said Dr. R., Vice Chancellor of Anna University, who inaugurated the opening along with Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace.
Plans for Growth
Supported by MS Dhoni, Garuda Aerospace plans to go public in the next 6-8 months. This was confirmed by Jayaprakash at TechSparks 2023. The company has highlighted its growth plans in a recent statement.
Dr. Velraj stressed that the showroom concept will raise awareness and boost direct sales of drone technology. “This showroom lets consumers and businesses experience drone technology firsthand and get the knowledge and support they need. We aim to expand to major cities across India and change how drones are seen and used,” said Jayaprakash.

Garuda Aerospace has raised $28.3 million in funding. The latest round in October 2023 was led by Venture Catalysts and We Founder Circle. The startup has received DGCA approval for manufacturing small- and medium-category drones and pilot training. It is present in over 400 districts across India.
